Tourette's Syndrome Study
We use a safe magnetic therapy called Transcranial Magnetic
Stimulation as an intervention in children with Tourette's Syndrome to
help decrease the expression of Tics.
Mind and Body
Depression, Parkinsons, MS, etc.
Children with a diagnosis of Tourette's Syndrome
Unable to receive an MRI brain scan (i.e. child has metal implants, braces, etc.)
Our goal is to directly help kids who participate in this study by
decreasing the expression of their tics. This study will help us better
understand how the brains in kids with Tourette's Syndrome are
different compared to typically developing children, to hopefully help
other kids with Tourette's Syndrome in the future.
Study study will pay up to $250 for participation
The magnetic therapy may cause a headache in the first few sessions,
but it disappears quickly. Boredom, but our kids can watch movies!
