BOBMan Bulletin - You Met All Challenge Goals!

You did it! All sponsor donation goals were met in the Bike Tour 'Spring Sprint'.  All of your peddlin' and hard work this spring raised an extra $12,100 – enough to fund a new undergrad research grant!  Thank you to everyone who completed challenges and a huge shout out to the incredible sponsors.  Prize winners announced next week!

Fundraising Incentive Prizes

We know it's a challenging time and the fundraising scene is much different these days.  To help, we’ve set new fundraising incentive levels to $500, $1,000 and $3,000!  The 10th Annual incentive prizes are pretty rad (if we do say so ourselves):

LEVEL 1: $500 (Happy Camper Enamel Mug)

LEVEL 2: $1,000 (Carhartt Acrylic Knit)

LEVEL 3: $3,000 (Heavy Knit Crew)

MANdem Strikes Again

In honour of Stampede, we're reminiscing MANdem's 2018 rootin' tootin' cowboy costume (and a couple of pairs of extra short denim bike shorts!).  Word on the street says that on July 19th, MANdem is tackling their own Bike Tour challenge and taking over Branch Out's Instagram account.  Be sure to tune in to check out what these crazy nuts have in store for the 10th Annual VIRTUAL tour.  We're still awarding the best costume, so be sure to tag @BranchOutNF or use the hashtag #BikingForBrains in your final ride.

Next week, we're revealing the final Three Endurance Challenges.  What does this mean?  In honour of the Bike Tour's usual 80, 100, and 160 KM rides, we're offering an Endurance, Technical and Adventure ride (comparable distances).

If you haven't already done so, sign up for the Climbduro App (created in Calgary for Calgarians).  It's a super easy digital download for your Android or iPhone.  The app gives you a virtual map and tells you exactly where the ride starts, ends and uses Strava's GPS to track your KMs.

You can complete your ride anytime between August 1 - 23.  Pick a weekend, tell your friends, and tackle one of the 10th Annual Branch Out Bike Tour Virtual Challenges – or try them all!  Share with your supporters how far you're riding and encourage them to donate to your personal fundraising page at
