Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. It's also an initiative that encourages individuals and provides information on how to maintain and improve brain health.
The Minister of Health (Canada) officially marked Brain Awareness Week as March 11-17, 2019! In addition, on March 13th, Sarah Hoffman, Minister of Health for Alberta, declared this day as Brain Health Awareness Day in Alberta.
As part of a larger campaign, the Branch Out Neurological Foundation partnered with the Alzheimer's Society of Calgary, Brain Care Centre, Campus Alberta Neuroscience, the Hotchkiss Brain Institute, and various university neuroscience & mental health affiliates to celebrate healthy brains for people of all ages. Yay for #BrainsAtTheirBest!
