COVID-19 has impacted us all.
This uncertain time has undoubtedly presented challenges for you, your family and the people and organizations you care about the most.
We want to assure you that Branch Out is taking all necessary steps to ensure safe and healthy operations, in accordance with the World Health Organization and Alberta Health Services, while continuing to plan inspiring events like our 10th Annual Branch Out Bike Tour and Your Brain on Art in 2020.
Thank you to all of you who have registered to support the Bike Tour scheduled for June 2020. Given the current global state of affairs, we have been closely monitoring the impact this will have on our plans and are seeking ways to adapt. Branch Out remains committed to hosting the Tour, but anticipates that the situation could result in a change to the scheduled date and/or format of the event. We ask for your patience as we navigate through this and will update you as soon as we have concrete information to share.
It is times like this that often inspire friends and donors to take extraordinary steps to support their favourite charities, and this is no exception. We are happy to share an incredible initiative that Benevity is actioning to support the community. To harness the collective power to ‘do good’, Benevity is launching a 1:1 matching campaign (up to $300,000). Their goal is to support non-profits who are being impacted by this unprecedented event.
As you know, support from our donors is critical to accelerating the work of researchers seeking non-pharma solutions to neurological disorders. If you would like to make a matched donation to Branch Out, please visit:
We cannot thank you enough for your continued support and understanding as we all navigate this challenging situation.
