I believe in the cause, and I believe in Crystal.
Sean teaches engineering (design, mostly) at the University of Saskatchewan. He holds the Huff Chair in Innovative Teaching in the School of Professional Development in the College of Engineering. His PhD is in Neuroscience (neuromuscular physiology) from the University of Alberta, with a BASc and MASc from Systems Design Engineering in Waterloo. Sean's current research areas are sports engineering (safety equipment, helmets, concussions) and engineering education with a focus on student employment trajectories, creativity and curiosity.
Sean was one of Crystal's first speed skating coaches, and has kept in touch with her ever since. When she started Branch Out, he worked with her to develop the research program for BONF. In Sean's spare time, he plays lots of soccer and dances Latin/Swing/Ballroom with his wife Linda. Sean is also on the Board of the Canadian Engineering Education Association (CEEA)
