Description: Sleep Apnea occurs when the muscles in our throats are not strong enough to hold open our airway when we sleep. As a result, people with Sleep Apnea have a wide range of impairments from their poor quality sleep. This study will test the hypothesis that certain types of speech therapies could actually strengthen the weak muscles in Sleep Apnea to treat the disorder.
