Background: Treating Autism with reinforcement learning therapies has been met with limited success. This study seeks to find out if trans-cranial direct current stimulation (TCDS) can be used to enhance the effects of reinforcement learning in children with Autism, which will be tested using EEG (brainwaves).
Impact: The study will examine if a the mind-and-body therapy of TCDS can be effective in treating children with Autism, which is very resistant to treatment, and allow speculation in the neural mechanisms of this therapy.
